We serve morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon teas baked or cooked fresh on our premises. Our key features are freshness and high quality with most of our produce coming from local suppliers. These include Locharthur Creamery who provide us with organic cheeses, Galloway Smokehouse, an Award winning Butcher from Dumfries and other local organic producers. More information on our suppliers can be found on the menu (see below). In 1998 we were a finalist in the Natural Cooking of Scotland section of the Thistle Awards. In 2000 we became an accredited member of The Campaign for Real Food and in November 2002 we gained Scotland's top catering accolade - The Macallan Taste of Scotland Award - as the nation's best coffee shop. Each year since 2003 we have received an Award of Excellence from the Tea Council in the Top Tea Place of the Year Awards. We cater for vegetarians and customers with other dietary requirements. Please ask our waiting staff who will be only too pleased to help.
