Here in Dumfries and Galloway, we are fortunate to have many wonderful independent food suppliers. Please support them. 

On Friday 20 March the government announced that all bars and restaurants must close in order to slow down the spread of coronavirus.

There was no notice, this was with immediate effect.

So, we’re now in the position where the suppliers to the restaurant trade have stock, but the supermarkets have none. 

Rather than battling it out in the supermarket, please support these great businesses.

These food suppliers are family businesses, and you’ll really be making a difference at this challenging time.
